Strategic Immunization Geotemporal Mapping Application
CLIENT
Software as a Service (SaaS)

Strategic Immunization Geotemporal Mapping Application (SIGMA) is a web-based operations support tool designed to support decision-makers involved in immunization and disease control efforts. The platform forecasts vaccine demand across regions and locations within a country and assesses accessibility gaps based on current immunization site coverage. In its demonstrated use case, SIGMA identified the number and characteristics of individuals who could or could not be reached by existing strategies, such as fixed-site clinics, outreach programs, or campaign-based services. It also helped evaluate and compare the cost and operational impact of alternative approaches.

SIGMA integrates spatial mapping capabilities with economic and predictive modeling to support workflow configuration based on data inputs. It enables users to evaluate how different scenarios—such as changes in population distribution, birth rates, or immunization uptake—may affect service delivery outcomes. The platform supports optimized positioning of immunization services and coordinating engagement efforts, improving resource use and contributing to disease control efforts across various public health priorities.
